Coat of arms of Carrie Nelson, USA, based on her concepts and artistic guidelines, with the support of her husband, Mark W. Nelson, and designed and emblazoned by me. The illustration shows 7 interpretations of Carrie Nelson's coat of arms. The blazon given here corresponds to the last of these interpretations. All 7 interpretations were designed and emblazoned by me.

Design rationale

Her paternal family hails from Bari, Italy, from which her maiden name, Trentadue, originates. Their coat of arms bears the tinctures Azure, Or, and Gules, which she has incorporated into her own. She is of Jewish ancestry, symbolised by the Star of David. A graphic designer and artist by profession, this is represented by the brushes and quills. She is also the editor of a Messianic quarterly magazine, as reflected in the Messianic symbol held by the griffin.
