J. M. Domaica, variant, inverse shield

Party per pale Azur and Argent: a chevron between in chief a dressage horse salient, and in base three waves of the sea all counterchanged.

Party per pale Azur and Argent: a chevron between in chief a dressage horse salient, and in base three waves of the sea all counterchanged.

Escudo partido de plata y azur: un cabrio surmontado de un caballo de doma saltante y en punta tres ondas del mar, todo del uno al otro.

Variant of the shield I produced during the creation process with: a pointed base; the field enamelled in plain Argent and Azure; the ordinary and charges illuminated in Azure and Argent; and the whole outlined in Sable and watercoloured.

In my heraldic creation methodology, within the conception phase, in the elicitation and ideation activity, variants and alternatives of coats of arms can be created. In this case this was one of them, which although not selected, contributed its Azure and Argent chevron to the creation of the crest and, therefore, of the badge.

Blazon keywords: Party per pale, Azure, Argent, One, Horse, Chevron, Sea, Counterchanged, Above, Salient, Throughout and In base.

Style keywords: Illuminated, Outlined in sable, Watercolor and Pointed.

Classification: Coat of arms, Created and Personal.

Circular seal with the arms [ per pale: a chevron between in chief a dressage horse salient, and in base three waves of the sea all counterchanged ]. Motto around the shield: «Juana María Domaica Maroto».

Sello circular con un [ escudo partido: un cabrio surmontado de un caballo de doma saltante y en punta tres ondas del mar, todo del uno al otro ]. Divisa: «Juana María Domaica Maroto» rodeando al escudo.

The following have been created and illustrated: two Azure and Argent borders charged with 21 salient horses, to frame paper and documents; a coat of arms in plain tincture outlined in Sable; another watercoloured and illuminated shield, with its two charges and its ordinary, the chevron, outlined of the field tincture; another shield with mantling and wreath decorated with a special type of drawing I call chinoiserie, with crest and a beaten metal finish; and a two-colour shield, without outlining, in plain tinctures, which could be used as a logotype, with the understanding that a coat of arms always goes beyond the current concept of a logotype.

A Sable seal and an example of its printing in Azure ink have been designed and illustrated from this coat of arms. This seal has been physically made in rubber and wood with a diameter of 4 cm with the motto "Juana María Domaica Maroto".

An ex libris in Sable and an example of its printing in Azure ink have been created and illustrated. This ex libris has also been physically made in rubber and wood, with a diameter of 4 cm and with the motto "Juana María Domaica Maroto, ex libris".
