It has been painted by me, illuminated with lights and shadows, contoured in Sable, with a square outer contour and with a rough finish.

The banner of arms of Kimberly Louise Severson designed by her and emblazoned by me. The banner bearing a canton of her brother Scott Harlan Severson's arms was conceived as an expression of family allegiance and respect, acknowledging his position as head of the family while preserving her own armorial identity.

The upper end of the pole has been ornamented with an element derived from the heraldic badge, namely Aslan's paw print. This is, however, purely an artistic and decorative feature and does not form part of the heraldic description, that is, the blazon.
