The English term «debruised» is written in Castilian as «resaltado»; I usually write it as «debruised by» ~ «resaltado de», where the charge below is debruised by the one above. It is analogous to «charged by» ~ «cargado de», except that the upper charge projects beyond the surface of the lower one; in this case, parts of the stag project beyond the surface of the sun and the clouds. In English, «stag» corresponds to the Castilian «ciervo», although «deer» is occasionally found instead. When a stag's antlers are of a different tincture from its body, the English term is «attired»; in Castilian I prefer «ramado» to «arcornado». When the animal issues from the wreath, rather than standing upon it, I write «demi» in English and «saliente» in Castilian; «demi» is reminiscent of the Castilian prefix «semi». When the animal is «demi», the animal's default attitude is «rampant» ~ «rampante» unless otherwise specified.
