Arms depicted by me, in plain tinctures, contoured in Sable, with a pointed outer contour and with a texturized finishing.

Coat of arms of Yaroslav Pototsky emblazoned by me under his directions. As Elliot Nesterman explained to me: «In English blazon a pelican in her piety describes the entire scene, pelican piercing its breast with nest, chicks, etc. The act of piercing its breast is called vulning. An animal wounded with blood drops showing is described as vulned. A pelican in her piety Argent, vulned Gules».

Escudo de azur, un cabrio en punta sosteniendo un pelícano en su piedad, desplegado de plata, ensangrentado de gules, en punta una estrella de ocho puntas de plata.

Coat of arms emblazoned by me, highlighted with lights and shadows, outlined in Sable, with a pointed outer contour and with a leather finish.

Coat of arms of Yaroslav Pototsky emblazoned by me under his directions. [Académie internationale d'héraldique; 1952; figure 79] defines, in the case of a charge placed lower in the shield than its default position, the terms «abatido», «in base», «abaissé» and «abbassato» in Spanish, English, French and Italian respectively, and when it is specifically a chevron, [Académie internationale d'héraldique; 1952; figure 147], «cabria bajado», «chevron in base», «chevron failli (abaissé)» and «abassato». But [Real Academia Española; 2001; abatido] provides meanings more associated with mood and other negative connotations rather than with a geometric position; in geometry, for instance, «abatir» a plane means to rotate it through an imaginary hinge rather than to lower it, which creates confusion. Likewise, the English term «abased» also carries negative connotations. Therefore, I prefer to use the terms «en punta» ~ «chevron in base», which I believe are more illustrative.

Coat of arms of Yaroslav Pototsky emblazoned by me under his directions. In some heraldic traditions, as in this case, it is the pelican that feeds its young with the blood from its chest; in other traditions, it is the heron. In all, it is a mystical symbol of supreme sacrifice.

Coat of arms of Dr. Jacques William Normand Delfin. He is from Mexico and his family comes from Falaise in Normandy. This coat of arms has been created by him and me, and emblazoned by me. The terms «Norman ship» has been chosen instead of other possible names for this type of vessel in order to create a reference to the surname «Normand» of the armiger, whose family descends from Normandy.
