The arms of Geremías Reyes Zelaya express the history of his Honduran family: emigration, work, settlement, prosperity, and inherited values. The fess wavy Azure represents the river and the crossing of the frontier, recalling the family's emigration in search of a better life. The three roundels Gules in chief evoke the family's new settlement, prosperity, and involvement in trade. The mount Vert in base represents the family's rural origins, the mountains, the land, and the cultivation of maize and beans. The bordure Gules charged with mullets of four points Or recalls the members of the family group. The falcon Or, belled Gules, chosen as the crest, derives from the armiger's first idea for a personal emblem and provides a distinctive and personal symbol. The motto, «Honesty and Respect», declares the ethical foundation of the family.

Coat of arms of Ugnius Mikučionis-Vizgirda emblazoned by me. Ugnius told me that he likes my English version of his blazon. He personally prefers the idea of a wooden staff that has the shape of a Latin cross, as opposed to a Latin cross produced by a person, a cross-maker. In this sense, the Chief Herald of Arms of Office of the Chief Herald of Arms of Malta describes his arms as «Vert a ragged staff trunked forming a Latin cross encircled and debruised above its base dexter by a solitary branch issuant from above its base sinister all Or», and the South African Bureau of Heraldry describes them as «Vert, a wooden staff, its upper end terminating in a Latin cross, raguly, couped at random, issuant from its sinister nombril point a leaved offshoot encircling the cross, its end terminating and debruising the lower limb Or». Following this same idea, my revised blazon using «wooden staff» would be: «Vert, a wooden staff, raguly, in the form of a Latin cross, issuant from its sinister a leaved offshoot encircling the staff, its end terminating and debruising the lower limb Or». From this point forward, however, I will use my own blazon, as it guides the heraldic artist more clearly toward that particular form of cross. It should also be noted that, following this concept of the wooden staff, I have depicted the arms of the cross as slightly raised.
