The 1st schema shows how to split a square to create a rectangle with a ratio of 5/6 between its width and height. The 2nd schema shows how to split it again to create a rectangle with a ratio of 5/8 between its width and height. I use this 5/8 ratio to paint the coat of arms of Ugnius Mikučionis-Vizgirda. In the 1st step, I must use the 2 main diagonal to find the center of the square, but I ommit both in the schema to make cleaner. I employ constructive geometry also known straightedge and compass construction, or ruler-and-compass construction or classical construction, that means this kind of pure geometry do not use measures, of course, you can use measures. These heraldic geometric constructions provide to the heraldic art with a more robust mathematical support.
